1. If my camera is lost and returned do I need to pay a reward to the finder?
No. The reward will be sent directly by ReturnMe to the person who found your camera. The reward will be a $40 ReturnMe voucher to be used towards ReturnMe recovery tags at www.ReturnMeTags.com. If you wish to give any monetary reward you may do so directly to the finder.

 

 

2. How many times a year can I make a claim?
You may make more than one claim within the Coverage Term period. Please note the total sum payable for all of your claims cannot exceed the Annual Coverage Amount. For replacement of a cracked screen, you can make one claim per year as long as you are within your coverage term period.

 

 

3. How will my camera be returned?
ReturnMe has a number of different ways of getting your camera back to you depending on the location and urgency. We work with shipping companies such as Fedex, UPS, DHL and local carriers. We will work with you to find the best solution for returning your camera.

 

 

4. What if my camera is lost while I’m out of the country?
We provide coverage for your camera whether lost or stolen anywhere in the World. Coverage is subject to your camera being attached to the activated ReturnMe tag at the time of loss.

 

 

5. Do I have to pay any deductible when purchasing a new camera?
No, there is no deductible to pay with ReturnMe MaxCoverage. You will be reimbursed up to your Annual Coverage Amount.

 

 

6. If I purchase a new camera can I transfer my ReturnMe tag and Maxcoverage over to it?
Yes, you can remove the recovery tag and attach it to your new camera. If you can not successfully transfer the recovery tag, email support@return.me with the ID# and we will send you a replacement tag that you can use on your new camera.

 

 

7. Will I receive any communication when my coverage is about to expire?
Yes, prior to your coverage expiring, ReturnMe will remind you to renew your coverage via email. At this point you can decide to renew your coverage or let it expire. Please always ensure your email is updated with ReturnMe.

 

 

8. What isn't covered by MaxCoverage?
A) Any camera while such device did not have your activated ReturnMe recovery tag attached
B) Any insured event not reported to Jacana Warranty within 30 days.
C) Amount claimed where you do not submit valid receipts or invoices to Jacana Warranty
D) Any additional costs relating to the loss of your camera
E) Any loss of earnings or profits which you suffer as a result of the loss of your camera
F) Claims arising from any reckless, deliberate or criminal act or omission by you.
G) An insured event which occurs outside the coverage term
